Yamaha Raptor is currently most powerful engine in the ATV market, liquid-cooled and has three intake and two exhaust valves. Unique in the ATV world, Its bore and stroke measures 100mm to 84 mm, and the cylinder is controlled by two 33mm Mikuni carburetors BSR. According to Yamaha unbarring the engine at 9000 rpm and has a 9.2:1 compression. The heart of the Raptor is lubricated by a dry sump system, and is fired by an electrical starter.
